Wanted: Leprechaun O'Riley

We all came decked out in our finest green clothes on Friday March 16th.  When we arrived at school we found a note from Leprechaun O'Riley letting us know that he would be back to our room in search of gold!  We immediately decided to hide our pot of gold in a cabinet drawer.  After gym we came back to our room and found a HUGE MESS!  Leprechaun O'Riley tipped our chairs over, knocked our toys out, and even put green footprints on the ceiling!   Yikes!  Be on the look out for one sneaky leprechaun!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Footprints on the ceiling!
Toys scattered around the room!
We wrote a sneaky note to Leprechaun O'Riley letting him know that he shouldn't look for gold in our room.  We told him to check the fifth graders room!

Green Eggs and Ham!

Hip Hip Hooray for Doctor Seuss' Birthday! On Friday March 2nd we celebrate national Read Across  America day.  In honor of Doctor Seuss we ate 2 different kinds of green eggs and ham!  In the morning we worked together cracking and scrambling some eggs we received from a special farm.  In the afternoon, Miss Peck made us a delicious green egg treat!

Since it was Read Across America day we were busy readers.  We read with funky pointers, magnifying glasses, bubble gum, and even in the dark with flashlights.  Doctor Seuss would be oh so proud!
